Mr. Chips Fish Place

Jan 10/2025. Best fish and chips in the area. Halibut was a generous portion and very meaty, so delicious. Server was very friendly and efficient too.

Exactly what we love about a family run, clean, fish and chips focused restaurant. Service isn't over the top and neither is the atmosphere but it's perfect for this type of restaurant and price point. Food is very good with excellent portions.

Excellent fish combo platter! I had the Captain's Platter with large piece if haddock, scallops, shrimp, and clam strips. Ordered a Cesar salad instead of the fries and it was half the plate and delicious. Definitely a place to visit if in areas.

Sunday night not knowing what to eat decided to try this location out. The building is old and dated. I have learned from the past do not judge a book, by its cover. Some of the best restaurants I have eaten from we're holes in the wall. We ordered two club sandwiches with fries and ceaser salad. The club was made with real turkey not lunch meat or chicken like most places. The club sandwich definitely better then most in the area. The only negative thing I haft to say about the club sandwich was it was made with Miracle whip not Heilmans mayo. This is more of a preference on my end. Fries were good home style. Salad was ok, dressing tastes good , powder cheese and bacon bits. Overall decent food, we will be returning in the near future. Thank you for dinner. Amazing!!! I haven't had fish like this in years we will be returning it was worth every penny. It was 15 per person, but you get a massive piece of fish and tons of home made fries FYI - You have to dine in to get the cod

Fast friendly service, absolutely delicious food. M had the shrimp dinner, I had the breaded scallops dinner. The deserts looked good as they went by, but we were too full for pie.

12 of us went for lunch for a birthday celebration .. the portions are large! Fish is lightly battered and crispy, fries are crispy and delicious… gravy was rich and delicious. Chicken souvlaki dinner was also yum. Despite only 1 server, server was great and cheerful.
